2025 PRP quiz

Thank you for your interest in the Parliamentary Research Programme (PRP).

At this stage of the application we would like to assess your general political knowledge and political perspectives, as well as your writing ability. This assessment needs to be completed by 22:00 on Sunday, 15 June, to be considered.

You do not need to prepare for this assessment. The assessment consists of 40 multiple choice questions, followed by a 450-word writing task. The 40 questions and the 450-word writing task have a 50-minute time limit.

In the first section, you will be asked 20 general political knowledge questions and offered three answers. Select the answer that is correct.
In the second section, you will be presented with 20 political statements. For each, select what your personal view is with regards to the statement: do you "Disagree" or "Agree".
In the third section, you will be presented with a writing task consisting of two parts. Please complete it in the text box.

The 50-minute timer will start once you have pressed the "Next" button below and the page has loaded. The form will automatically close and save the answers 50 minutes thereafter. Please note that there are no second chances! Make sure this is your best effort.

After completing your quiz and writing exercise, you will be sent an e-mail confirming your submission. Please allow some time for the e-mail to arrive.
